The Numbers in Short

01230 € per month

Our price for managing a Google Ads campaign. That is the fee for the work, and the ad budget is separate, paid directly to Google.

02300 € per month

The smallest ad budget we recommend. With less, a month brings too few clicks to know what works.

03150 to 400 € per month

The range of management fees we have seen at agencies in Serbia. Some charge 15 to 20% of the budget instead of a flat fee.

04

5.42 $ per click: the average cost per click across all industries in the LocaliQ and WordStream 2026 report. In Serbia a click is usually cheaper.

05

8.18%: the average share of clicks that become an enquiry or a sale in the same report. Your rate depends most on the page the ad leads to.

06No yearly contract

Our management is monthly and you can cancel at any time. You change or pause the budget in your Google account yourself.

What a Click Costs: What Public Data Says

The price of a click is set in an auction, so there is no price list. What does exist are large reports showing what advertisers paid on average in each industry.

The most quoted one is the LocaliQ and WordStream search advertising report, updated on 1 June 2026. The numbers come from the campaigns of thousands of their clients on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. The average cost per click across all industries is 5.42 $, and the average cost of one lead is 66.69 $.

Use these numbers to compare industries. In the Serbian market a click is usually cheaper, but the order mostly holds: clicks cost more for lawyers and dentists, and less for restaurants.

Reliable public figures for Serbia alone do not exist, so we will not make them up. The real cost per click for your searches and your city is shown by the free Keyword Planner in your Google Ads account, and after the first month by the account itself.

The table below comes from the same report, for the industries most common among small businesses in Serbia.

Average Cost per Click and Conversion Rate by Industry

Averages from the LocaliQ / WordStream 2026 report for search ads. The numbers come from the US, so use them to compare industries with each other, not as the cost of a click in Serbia.

Why We Recommend at Least 300 € a Month for Ads

The most common mistake we see is a small budget spread over too many searches. The campaign gets a few clicks a day, after a month two or three enquiries come in and the owner decides ads do not work. In fact nothing had time to be measured.

The first month is a learning month. You need to see which searches bring enquiries, which only spend and what clicks cost in your field. For that you need enough clicks, and the number of clicks is the budget divided by the cost per click.

That is why we recommend at least 300 € per month for ads, about 10 € a day. In cheaper industries that is several hundred clicks, plenty to decide by numbers after the first month.

If clicks are expensive in your field and the budget is small, it is better to advertise one service in one city than all services across Serbia. A narrower focus gives more clicks where you need them.

You never pay the budget to us. Google charges it to your card, and we only see the account. That way you always know how much went to ads and how much to management.

What Campaign Management Costs

At agencies in Serbia, managing a Google Ads campaign costs from 150 to 400 € per month. Some agencies charge 15 to 20% of the ad budget instead of a flat fee. A percentage makes sense with larger budgets: at 2,000 € per month it comes to 300 to 400 €.

With us, management costs from 230 € per month. For that you get monitoring and changes to the campaign during the month, exclusion of searches that spend without bringing enquiries and a monthly report with spend, number of enquiries and the cost of one enquiry.

The exact amount depends on how many campaigns and services you advertise, whether enquiry tracking has to be set up from scratch and whether the pages the ad leads to need reworking. We do that part ourselves, in the website code, so you do not need another company.

You can also run the campaign yourself. Then you do not pay for management, but you pay with your time. If you have a few hours a week for it and like numbers, it is quite doable.

A Worked Example: From Budget to Customer

Here is one example with round numbers. The cost per click and the enquiry rate are assumptions to keep the math easy. Your real numbers will come from Keyword Planner and the first month of the campaign.

The break-even point is 530 € divided by 80 €, which is 7 customers a month. With fewer than 7 customers the ad does not pay you back in this example, with more it does.

The same math shows where the lever is. If the page turns 8% of clicks into enquiries instead of 5%, the same 300 € brings 48 enquiries instead of 30. A better page is often worth more than a bigger budget.

Remember that a customer often buys more than once. If they come back, the first job can be at zero and the profit comes later.

  1. The ad budget is 300 € per month and management is 230 €. In total you pay 530 €.
  2. If a click costs 0.50 €, 300 € buys 600 clicks.
  3. If 5% of visitors send an enquiry or call, that is 30 enquiries a month.
  4. One enquiry costs 300 € divided by 30, which is 10 €. Including management it is 530 € divided by 30, about 17.70 €.
  5. If every third enquiry becomes a customer, you have 10 new customers, and one customer costs you 53 €.
  6. If you earn 80 € on one job after materials and labour, 10 customers bring 800 €. That is 270 € more than you paid.

Run the Numbers for Your Industry

You can do the same math with your own numbers in the configurator on our website. Pick your industry, enter the budget and what you earn on one customer.

The calculator takes the average cost per click and conversion rate for that industry from the LocaliQ and WordStream report and shows an estimate of clicks, enquiries and customers. Since a click in Serbia is usually cheaper, the result leans cautious rather than optimistic.

If the math comes out negative even with a better page, that is useful to know too. SEO or a Google Business Profile may be the better path for your service, with ads later.

What to Check in a Google Ads Quote

01Budget shown separately

The quote should say how much goes to Google and how much to management. If you see a single amount, ask how much of it actually reaches the ads.

02Account in your name

The Google Ads account should be yours, with your card. If you change agencies, the account and the whole campaign history stay with you.

03Cost per enquiry in the report

The monthly report should show spend, number of enquiries and the cost of one enquiry. Clicks and impressions on their own do not tell you whether it paid off.

04Tracking before launch

Ask how calls and submitted forms will be measured. Without tracking you cannot work out the cost per enquiry from the example above.

05Notice period

Check whether you can cancel after one month. With us management is monthly, with no obligation for a longer period.

06Promises in advance

Be careful when someone promises an exact number of enquiries before any analysis. Before the first month nobody can honestly know.

How to Get Started

If you have already tried ads and are not sure where the money went, send us access to the account. We look at spend and tracking and tell you what we see, with no obligation to continue with us.

If you are just starting, begin with the math in the configurator, then tell us your industry, city and a budget you are comfortable with. You get a campaign proposal with an estimated cost per enquiry, and the decision is yours.

Frequently Asked Questions About Google Ads Cost

Two amounts. The ad budget, for which we recommend at least 300 € per month, is paid directly to Google. Campaign management with us costs from 230 € per month. If you run the campaign yourself, you only pay the budget.
It depends on the search, the city and the competition, so there is no single number. The public LocaliQ and WordStream 2026 report gives an average of 5.42 $ per click across all industries, and in Serbia a click is usually cheaper. Check the price for your searches in Keyword Planner.
It can, but in a month you collect few clicks and it is hard to tell what works. If the budget is small, advertise one service in one city. We recommend at least 300 € per month for ads.
Some agencies charge 15 to 20% of the budget, others a flat fee. With small budgets a percentage gives a small amount, with large ones a flat fee often works out cheaper. What matters is that the quote clearly shows how much goes to Google and how much to the work.
Divide the total cost, budget plus management, by the number of new customers. If the cost per customer is lower than what you earn on that customer, the ad paid off. For that you need to track calls and forms, which we cover in our Google Analytics 4 guide.
The first month is for learning and cleaning out searches that waste money. After the first month you have enough data for the cost per enquiry, and after two to three months you also see how many enquiries become customers.
